Today marks the 60th anniversary of Rosa Park’s courageous stand (or should I say sit) against racism.
Standing at 5’3” this woman with a small stature showed the world her huge heart by doing the unthinkable. Here we are 60 years later remembering what she did, and thanking God for her and her courageous act. Many Christian leader expressed their thankfulness for her actions today.
60 years ago today Rosa Parks stood up to injustice by keeping her seat. Grateful for her courage and leadership.

The question for us is What will we do? When the entire world seems to be moving in a way that is so anti-biblical. What will you do? Not taking away anything from Rosa Parks’ incredible courage, A Christian who follows Christ when the entire world is opposed is worthy of even more honor. What will you do when pushed to disobey God? Will you cower into a corner? Will you disobey? Or will you honor the Lord and obey Him? Will you stand up for what’s right despite the persecution that may come?
I am reminded about what Jesus said in Matthew 10:32-33 when He said,
“32 “Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven.”
When Rosa parks died she became the only woman to ever be buried “in honor” at the Capitol Rotunda. Jesus says, that to those who obey him, who are unafraid and courageous enough to withstand the world temptations, and boldly declare Christ as savior, He will do them the greatest honor and confess them before the Father, and there we will spend eternity with our Lord.
Is this you? Have you confessed Jesus as Lord? I pray you do, today!
