What to do instead of the sinner’s prayer, why you should hand out Gospel tracts, how the Spirit works in a cessationist’s life, and more…
The Benefits of Handing Out Gospel Tracts The Word of God reminds believers to always be ready to give a defense for the faith (1 Pet 3:15). Christians long for the unsaved to hear the gospel and to be converted. The gospel of God’s saving grace revealed in Christ goes forth in a myriad of ways. But one such way in which believers can proclaim the gospel and evangelize the lost is through the distribution of gospel tracts.
Why Thanksgiving is Inescapably Theological Thanksgiving is a deeply theological act, rightly understood. As a matter of fact, thankfulness is a theology in microcosm — a key to understanding what we really believe about God, ourselves, and the world we experience.
Spirit Guide: The Lord’s Leading in the Cessationist’s Life It’s not uncommon for me to hear of Christians claiming that God led them to this or that by means of a dream or vision or word from the Lord. When I probe what they mean by that, more often than not it’s just their way of saying they had an idea or imagined a scene.
The sufferings of Christ are a calling for every Christian. 1 Peter 2:21. A calling. Your calling.
